About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Auto Electrician candidates to join our vehicle maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for ex-service experience personnel from the Indian Army, or any branch of the Armed Forces, whose technical training and discipline make them ideal candidates for this demanding and rewarding role.

You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, reporting and maintaining electrical and electronic systems across a diverse bus fleet and specialist vehicles. Your military background in vehicle electrics, signals, REME, or related trades will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair faults in vehicle electrical and electronic systems including wiring harnesses, fuse boxes, alternators, starters, and battery systems.
- Repair/check and maintain vehicle accessories such as GPS trackers, dash cameras, lighting systems, alarms, and communication equipment.
- Carry out scheduled electrical inspections and preventive maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
- Read and interpret complex wiring diagrams, circuit schematics, and technical manuals
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment (OBD scanners, mustimeters) to identify system faults and carry out root cause analysis.
- Ensure all work is documented accurately in the maintenance management system (job cards, inspection reports)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Liaise with the Workshop Manager and fleet supervisors to priorities repair schedules and minimize vehicle downtime.
- Mentor and guide junior technicians or apprentices where required.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Auto Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related trade (or equivalent military trade qualification)
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in auto electrical work on heavy vehicles, transport vehicles.




- Proficiency in fault-finding on 12V and 24V electrical systems
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical documentation in English

Desirable

- Ex-serviceman with Army trade in Vehicle Mechanic (Electrical), Signals Equipment Technician, REME Electrician, or equivalent.
- Experience with CAN-bus systems, ECU diagnostics, and modern electronic control modules.
