Role Description We are looking for a full-time Remote Associate Software Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve the scalable web applications that power the BigCashWeb platform.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in programming, APIs, JSON, and data handling, along with the ability to troubleshoot customer issues and work collaboratively with senior engineers, product, and design teams.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Computer Science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Write clean, productive, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Build and maintain basic APIs, with a clear understanding of API request/response flows.
- Parse, understand, manipulate, and generate JSON data for application workflows and integrations.
- Work with Python or another programming language to implement features and automate processes.
- Integrate and troubleshoot third-party APIs and services.
- Act as a primary technical point of contact for customer issues,



investigating problems and driving them through to resolution.
- Analyze application behavior, logs, JSON payloads, and other technical data to identify and resolve bugs.
- Work with product and business teams to form, configure, and optimize offers on the BigCashWeb platform.
- Use statistical and performance data to evaluate offers, identify trends, and support optimization decisions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow engineering best practices under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Contribute to performance optimization, reliability, and security improvements.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
- Continuously learn and adopt tools, technologies, and practices relevant to the platform.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team setting, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Required Skills

- Strong fundamentals in programming and problem-solving.
- Ability to code in Python or another programming language.
- Good understanding of JSON, including parsing, reading, modifying, and generating JSON structures.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP requests/responses, status codes, and API integration.
- Ability to debug issues by examining code, logs, API responses, and data.
- Basic understanding of databases and working with structured data.
- Analytical mindset with an interest in using statistical and business data to optimize outcomes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work directly on customer-facing technical issues.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work under the guidance of senior engineers.
