This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Manager, Medical Communications and Content Solutions based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to develop high-quality medical communications and content supporting global medical affairs initiatives. You will create a broad range of external-facing materials, from abstracts and manuscripts to congress presentations, educational resources and digital content. Working under appropriate guidance, you will combine scientific expertise, strong communication skills and attention to detail to translate complex medical information into clear and compliant content.

The position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including graphics, compliance and statistics specialists, to deliver effective content solutions. You will also contribute to the adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI), digital tools and emerging content technologies. Accountabilities

- Develop medical affairs content with appropriate supervision, including abstracts, manuscripts, congress posters and presentations, graphical abstracts, systematic literature reviews, plain language summaries, slide decks, medical education resources, social media content, infographics, videos, multimedia and other external-facing materials.
- Research, organize, compile and interpret scientific, technical and medical information to support content development.
- Perform quality checks to ensure medical content is accurate, consistent, clear and aligned with applicable standards.
- Develop content solutions for stakeholders in collaboration with the manager and coordinate with cross-functional teams such as graphics, compliance agencies and statistics teams.

- Manage assigned projects and ensure deliverables are completed within expected timelines while meeting quality and compliance requirements.
- Track project progress, identify potential issues and work with the manager to resolve challenges effectively.




- Complete training on relevant tools, processes and emerging technologies, including generative artificial intelligence (AI) platforms used in medical content development.

- Identify and develop expertise in at least one new content creation tool or skill that reflects emerging trends and technologies within the medical communications industry.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across teams, regions and cultures to support successful project execution.

Requirements

- Advanced scientific degree such as a Master of Science (MS), Master of Research (MRes), Master of Pharmacy (MPharm), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or Doctor of Medicine (MD).
- At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical medicine, including medical affairs or medical compliance.
- Experience creating medical content, academic writing or communications within an agency, Contract Research Organization (CRO), pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of individual assignments while aligning with more experienced colleagues on project scope, timelines and quality expectations.

- Strong scientific and medical writing capabilities, with the ability to research, interpret and communicate complex information accurately.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication for different audiences and settings while maintaining clarity, consistency and compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with colleagues and external stakeholders across cultures and regions.

- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and collaborate with cross-functional partners.




- Demonstrated understanding of how technology can support and improve medical content development.
- Expertise in an assigned therapeutic area is preferred.

- Experience with multimedia content and omnichannel medical communications is preferred.
- Ability to rapidly adopt new digital content tools, technologies and resources is preferred.
- Global or international professional or educational experience is preferred.
