About the role
You'll work directly with the Founder & CEO at the centre of everything — customer operations, commercial execution, partnerships, market expansion, and internal delivery. This is a high-exposure generalist role expecting a high velocity multitasker.
What you'll do
- Customer engagement: Own follow-up loops across enterprise accounts — issue trackers, escalations, briefing notes, and meeting coordination across East Africa, India, and UAE time zones
- Contracts & commercials: Manage contract lifecycle admin — version control, redline comparisons, execution tracking — and assemble first-pass commercial proposals and RFP responses
- Partnerships & expansion:
Support partnership development with financial institutions and telecoms; coordinate new-market workstreams including entity setup and licensing timelines; maintain market intelligence and sector research
- Project tracking & PMO: Run daily cross-workstream status reviews; track regulatory and partner deliverables; support sprint ceremonies and backlog hygiene for product/engineering teams; prepare monthly ops reviews and board materials
- Hiring support: Own recruitment pipeline hygiene — scheduling, rubric scoring, candidate communication, and first-round filtering
What we're looking for
- 1–3 years in consulting, start-up/fintech operations, program management, or legal/commercial operations, founders office, scrum master, PMO and PM roles
- Solid spreadsheet skills and analytical skills
- Exceptional written communication and relentless follow-through,, 'getting things done'
- Comfort operating independently across time zones and ambiguity
- Bonus: exposure to Agile/Scrum practices or contract redlining
