Role Description The Assistant Professor of Computer Science and Engineering is a full time, on-site role based at the Shri Khushal Das University campus in Hanumangarh. The role involves delivering undergraduate and postgraduate lectures, designing and updating course materials, and conducting tutorials and lab sessions in core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Engineering. The faculty member will guide students in projects, dissertations, and research activities, while promoting analytical thinking and innovation.

Responsibilities include assessing student performance, maintaining academic records, mentoring students, and providing academic counseling as needed.

Professor will also participate in departmental meetings, curriculum development, conferences, and workshops, as well as contribute to institutional initiatives, accreditation activities, and community outreach.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic preparation in Computer Science and Engineering or a closely related discipline (preferably M.Tech./M.E./Ph.D.) from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of core computer science subjects such as data structures, algorithms, operating systems, computer networks, databases, and software engineering.
- Exposure to emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to teach, design syllabi, develop instructional materials, and use modern pedagogical methods and educational technologies.
- Research aptitude with evidence of publications, conference presentations, or ongoing projects, and willingness to guide student research and innovation.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills, with a student-centered approach and commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory education.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, participate in academic committees, and support institutional development and accreditation activities.
