Position Purpose The Assistant Professor will support the academic and practical delivery of the BBA in Building Management Technology and related programmes. The role requires a combination of technical knowledge, classroom teaching capability and hands-on laboratory exposure in building services, building automation, energy management, smart buildings and facilities management.
The position is intended for an academic skilled who can effectively connect classroom concepts with real-world building and facility operations. The candidate will work closely with the Associate Professor to deliver laboratory sessions, develop course content, mentor students, support industry projects and contribute to research and academic activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging theory and practical sessions
- Conduct hands-on training in BMS, building automation and energy management
- Develop course materials, lesson plans, assessments and laboratory activities
- Guide student projects, internships and capstone projects
- Mentor students and support their academic and career development
- Support industry visits, workshops and technical sessions
- Contribute to research publications and academic initiatives
- Participate in departmental and accreditation activities
Eligibility
- Master's degree in Management / Building Services / Electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering / Architecture / Construction / Facilities Management or related discipline
- MBA / PGDM / M.E. / M.Tech. in a relevant discipline preferred
- First Class or equivalent at Bachelor's or Master's level
- Minimum 3 years of relevant teaching, research and/or industry experience
- Ph.D. completed / pursuing / submitted will be an added advantage
Preferred Experience with BMS/IBMS, Schneider Electric EcoStruxure, BACnet, Modbus, HVAC, Energy Auditing, Smart Building IoT or Facilities Management will be highly preferred.
