Role Description The Assistant Product Manager – Gold Loans will support the development, enhancement, and management of gold loan products, ensuring they align with customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. This full-time role, based on-site in Mumbai, involves conducting market and competitor analysis, tracking product performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as sales, operations, risk, and technology to drive product improvements.

The role includes drafting product documentation, assisting in pricing and policy decisions, and coordinating with marketing teams on campaigns and communication to increase product adoption.

Manager will also monitor customer feedback, support training and enablement for frontline teams, and help implement process efficiencies to deliver a smooth gold loan customer experience.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including comfort with data analysis, performance tracking, and deriving actionable insights.
- Knowledge of retail lending or gold loan products, basic understanding of NBFC operations, and familiarity with risk and compliance considerations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with sales, operations, technology, marketing, and senior stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize timelines, and execute projects with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other productivity tools; exposure to product management or financial services tools is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) in finance or marketing is preferred.
- Experience (internship or professional) in product management, retail lending, or financial services is desirable, especially in gold loans or secured lending.
- Customer-focused mindset, high ethical standards, and alignment with Godrej Capital’s values of fairness, speed, and flexibility.
