About the Role:

Flora Hospitality Group is looking for an experienced and hands-on Assistant Manager – Projects to support the Group General Manager in planning, coordinating and executing new construction, expansion, renovation, refurbishment, development and CAPEX projects across our hospitality properties.

The role requires strong site coordination, project monitoring, contractor management, BOQ/drawing understanding, cost control and reporting skills, along with the ability to coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, engineers, contractors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support planning and execution of hotel/resort construction, renovation, expansion and development projects
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, engineers, contractors and vendors
- Monitor project timelines, milestones, budget/CAPEX and work progress
- Coordinate labour, manpower, materials and project resources
- Review and coordinate BOQs, drawings, specifications and project requirements
- Monitor construction quality, safety and adherence to approved specifications
- Follow up on material procurement, deliveries and contractor performance
- Identify project delays, technical issues, cost variations and risks and escalate them appropriately
- Prepare project progress reports, MIS, trackers and management updates




- Support practical site-level problem solving and corrective actions
- Coordinate project meetings and follow up on management decisions and action points
- Support project completion, inspection, snag rectification and final handover

Candidate Profile

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Hospitality Projects
- Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture or related field
- Experience in Hotel / Resort / Commercial Project execution will be highly preferred
- Strong understanding of civil/construction activities, BOQ, drawings and specifications
- Good knowledge of project planning, scheduling, cost control and CAPEX
- Strong contractor, vendor and site coordination skills
- Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities
- Strong MIS, documentation and reporting skills
- Valuable communication, coordination and follow-up skills
- Willingness to undertake regular site visits and travel to project locations
