Role Description The Assistant Manager – PCB Manufacturing is a full-time, on-site role based in Kolkata. This position oversees day-to-day PCB production activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.

Responsibilities include monitoring process performance, implementing process improvements, and supporting adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards. The role involves supervising shop-floor staff, resolving operational issues, maintaining production documentation, and assisting in vendor coordination for materials and components.

Manager will also support management reporting, help drive cost optimization initiatives, and contribute to continuous improvement in manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Production Planning and Production Management to manage schedules, workflows, and resource utilization effectively.
- Candidates should possess skills in Manufacturing Operations and Operations Management to oversee day-to-day plant activities and ensure smooth, efficient processes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to maintain product standards, conduct inspections, and support corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in electronics or PCB manufacturing, preferably in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
- Ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, 5S, and basic lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices.
