Role Description The Assistant Manager – NOC (Network Operations Center) is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. The role involves monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving faults, and ensuring high availability and reliability of broadband services.
The Assistant
Manager – NOC will coordinate incident management, oversee technical escalations, and work closely with field and engineering teams to maintain service quality and meet SLAs.
Responsibilities include analyzing network trends, preparing operational reports,
implementing standard operating procedures, and supporting preventive maintenance activities. The role also requires adherence to safety and compliance standards, mentoring NOC staff, and contributing to continuous improvement of network operations.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in network monitoring, incident management, and fault resolution within an ISP or telecom environment.
- Candidates should possess skills in IP networking, routing, switching, and basic knowledge of fiber-optic technologies and related equipment.
- Candidates should possess skills in using NOC tools, ticketing systems, and reporting dashboards to track performance and document issues.
- Candidates should possess skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and root cause analysis for recurring network events.
- Candidates should possess skills in communication, coordination with cross-functional teams, and stakeholder management during outages or service impacts.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in broadband or internet service operations, including shift-based NOC work, will be an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting, follow established SOPs, and maintain accurate documentation and compliance.
