Job Role
- Assistant Finance Manager
- Manage daily financial transactions, bookkeeping, and cash flow for an automobile / two-wheeler dealership.
- Handle dealer financing, floor plan accounts, and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) billing.
- Oversee customer vehicle loan files and coordinate with banks and NBFCs for quick approvals.
- Reconcile daily sales collections from showroom and service floors.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory tax requirements.
- Monitor operational expenses and manage inventory financing costs.
Key Responsibilities
Finance &
- Accounting:
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation.
Dealer Financing &
- Vehicle Loans
- Handle dealer financing and floor plan accounts.
- Manage OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) billing.
- Oversee customer vehicle loan files.
- Coordinate with banks and NBFCs for quick loan approvals.
- Follow up on pending loan applications and required documentation.
Reconciliation &
- Collections
- Reconcile daily sales collections from showroom and service floors.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
- Monitor daily collections and ensure accurate accounting.
Tax &
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory tax requirements.
- Maintain proper records and supporting documents for tax-related activities.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for timely statutory compliance.
Expense &
- Inventory Management
- Monitor operational expenses and ensure proper recording of expenses.
- Manage and track inventory financing costs.
- Maintain accurate records related to dealership inventory and financing.
Candidate Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance, such as B.Com, M.Com, or MBA Finance.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in an automobile dealership.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and computerized accounting systems.
- Positive understanding of automotive retail financing.
- Knowledge of GST compliance and local Delhi banking norms.
- Strong accounting, analytical, coordination, and documentation skills.
