Position Title: Assistant Manager / Manager – ESG & Sustainability Consulting

About the Role

Earthood is seeking a technical ESG & Sustainability Qualified (Assistant Manager to Manager level) to deliver client-facing ESG advisory, carbon accounting, and environmental footprint verification.

The candidate should have an engineering background with hands-on technical expertise to help global clients navigate GHG accounting, SBTi net-zero roadmaps, Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), and ESG rating frameworks (including EcoVadis and BRSR).

Key Responsibilities

- GHG & Net-Zero Advisory: Lead Scope 1, 2, and 3 accounting under the GHG Protocol and build client net-zero roadmaps aligned with SBTi standards.
- LCA & Carbon Footprinting: Conduct cradle-to-grave Product Carbon Footprints (PCF) and LCAs compliant with ISO 14040/14044 standards.
- ESG Reporting & Ratings: Drive client disclosures and submissions for EcoVadis, CDP, GRI, and SEBI BRSR/BRSR Core.
- Audit & Assurance:



Assist in third-party verification, non-financial data auditing, and climate risk assessments across diverse industrial sectors.
- Client Engagement: Manage project deliverables, interface with cross-functional corporate teams, and translate complex climate data into actionable executive insights.

Education

B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Environmental, Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering disciplines from a reputed institute.

Higher qualifications and sustainability certification will be preferred

Experience

3–5+ years in ESG consulting, carbon accounting, or sustainability auditing. Candidates with 5+ years will be considered for Manager level.

Core Technical Skills

Hands-on proficiency in GHG Protocol, SBTi framework, ISO 14040/44 (LCA), and EcoVadis platform filings.

Regulatory Frameworks

Working knowledge of BRSR Core, GRI, EU CBAM, CSRD, and ISSB (IFRS S1/S2).
