Role & Responsibility:

We are looking for an Internal Artificial Intelligence Engineer platform and tooling that enables engineers to work faster and with higher quality. This includes extending tools such as Cursor and other AI coding agents, building reusable agent skills, plugins and MCP integrations, and creating intelligent workflows around our engineering systems.

Our client is an industry leading AIOps platform designed to provide instant, real-time actionable insights for managing multi-domain network and application infrastructures. By bringing together multiple sources of data into one easy to use platform, IT teams can troubleshoot network issues faster, avoid downtime, reduce MTTR and improve efficiency.

Skills:

- 3+ years of strong software engineering experience building production systems.
- Experience with developer tools, internal platforms, automation, infrastructure, or
- developer productivity.
- Hands-on experience with Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI
- coding tools.
- Experience building MCP servers/tools, plugins, agent skills, APIs, or AI-powered
- workflows.




- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, CI/CD, testing, and engineering
- systems.
- Strong programming and system design skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to experiment with rapidly evolving AI technologies.
- Ability to turn ambiguous engineering problems into straightforward, scalable solutions.

Nice to Have

- Experience building AI agents or agentic workflows.
- Experience with LLM evaluation and prompt/context engineering.
- Experience integrating AI tools with developer platforms and enterprise systems.
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

- Build AI-powered internal developer tools, workflows, and automation.
- Develop Cursor skills, plugins, MCP tools, and agent integrations that understand our
- codebase, architecture, and engineering practices.
- Build integrations with GitHub, Jira, CI/CD, observability, testing, and internal
- engineering systems.
- Create reusable AI agents and workflows for coding, debugging, testing, RCA,
- documentation, and operational tasks.
- Develop frameworks to evaluate the quality, reliability, and impact of AI-generated
- results.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to identify high-value opportunities to eliminate
- repetitive work and improve developer productivity.
- Drive adoption of AI tools across engineering through enablement, documentation, and measurable outcomes.
