Role Description The Art Teacher role is a full-time, on-site position based at EuroSchool in Bengaluru South.
The Art
Teacher will design and deliver age-appropriate art lessons that develop learners’
skills in drawing, painting, craft, and other visual art forms, aligned with the school’s curriculum.
Responsibilities include planning lesson activities, preparing materials, assessing student work, and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. The role involves organizing displays of student artwork, contributing to school events and exhibitions, and collaborating with other teachers to integrate art into broader learning themes.

Teacher is expected to support individual learner needs,
encourage creativity and critical thinking, and communicate regularly with school leadership and families about student progress.
Qualifications
- Ability to design and implement structured art lessons that build skills in drawing, painting, craft, and other visual arts.
- Experience in classroom management and creating an inclusive, safe, and motivating learning environment.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills for working with learners, families, and teaching colleagues.
- Competence in assessing student work, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress.
- Relevant academic background such as a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Education, or a related field; formal teacher training is an advantage.
- Familiarity with school-based curricula and child-centered teaching methods, preferably within CBSE, ICSE, or similar frameworks.
- Willingness to participate in school events, exhibitions, and co-curricular activities, and to contribute to the broader school community.
- Prior experience teaching art in a school setting in India or similar educational context is highly beneficial.
