Role Description The Area Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in pune & other candidate based in Ahmedabad. responsible for driving sales and market growth for the “Z” brand within the assigned territory. The role includes managing distributor and retailer relationships, overseeing primary and secondary sales, and ensuring effective product placement and visibility at key outlets.

Manager will plan and execute sales strategies, monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities to increase revenue and market share. Daily tasks include visiting trade partners, conducting field audits, guiding and engaging the sales team,



and ensuring timely reporting and adherence to company policies. The role also involves coordinating local promotional activities, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to support brand initiatives.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in field sales, territory management, or area sales roles, preferably in FMCG or personal care.
- Strong skills in relationship management, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement with distributors and retailers.
- Ability to analyze sales data, track market trends, and develop practical action plans to achieve targets.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and support sales teams.
- Comfort with on-site work, extensive travel within the territory, and regular market visits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Excel, PowerPoint, email) and familiarity with sales reporting tools.
