Company Description NNAD Studio is an architectural and interior design practice focused on bridging handmade and machine-made craft in contemporary spaces. Each project follows a unique, contextual, and experimental design process that emphasizes personalization and innovative thinking. The studio champions simple, sensible architecture grounded in local soil, materials, and collaborative craftsmanship.

Earth and bamboo are core to the studio’s work, complemented by materials such as wood, stone, fly ash, straw, rice husk, and thatch alongside concrete, steel, and glass. NNAD Studio is known for eco-friendly, earth-centric architecture and thoughtful interior and space planning.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Architect role based in Bengaluru. The Architect will be responsible for developing concept designs, detailed architectural drawings, and interior layouts that reflect NNAD Studio’s material-focused and contextual approach. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design documentation, coordinating with consultants and contractors, visiting project sites, and ensuring design intent is maintained through all phases.

The role involves collaborating closely with clients and the internal team, selecting materials and finishes, and integrating sustainable and locally sourced elements into the design. The Architect will also support project planning activities,



track progress against timelines, and contribute to continuous design experimentation within the studio.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear plans and details.
- Experience with relevant Software Development and Integration in the architectural context (e.g., CAD/BIM tools, 3D modeling, and coordination of digital workflows).
- Demonstrated Project Management skills, including scheduling, coordination with multiple stakeholders, and overseeing execution in office.
- Proficiency in design and visualization software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar) and basic knowledge of rendering tools.
- Understanding of sustainable and eco-friendly design principles, especially material-focused and earth-based construction techniques.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a studio environment and on construction sites.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; professional registration or progress toward licensure is an advantage.
- Prior experience in residential, interior, or eco-conscious projects is preferred; portfolio demonstrating contextual and experimental work is required.
