Job Summary

DB Plus is looking for an Architect with 2+ years of relevant professional experience to join our team in Madurai. The role will involve architectural design, planning, working drawings, detailing, consultant coordination, presentations, material selection, documentation and project involvement through different stages of design and execution.

We are looking for someone with sound architectural fundamentals, good design sensibility and the ability to independently manage assigned responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop architectural concepts and space-planning solutions.
- Prepare plans, elevations, sections, working drawings and details.
- Assist in design development from concept to execution stage.
- Prepare presentation drawings and design documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP and other consultants.
- Review consultant drawings for design and coordination issues.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors and project teams.
- Assist in material, finish and product selection.
- Review samples, finishes and vendor submissions.
- Assist with BOQs, specifications and schedules where required.
- Undertake site visits when required.
- Resolve architectural and design-related queries during execution.
- Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
- Ensure drawings are accurate,



coordinated and suitable for execution.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch)
- 2+ years of relevant skilled experience
- Strong architectural design and planning skills
- Good working-drawing and detailing knowledge
- Understanding of construction methods and materials
- Ability to read and coordinate architectural and consultant drawings
- Good presentation and documentation skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Proficiency in relevant architectural and design software

Preferred Experience in healthcare, institutional, commercial or large-scale projects will be considered an added advantage.
