Role Description The AR Caller role is a full-time, in office position based in Bengaluru, focused on managing accounts receivable for healthcare clients in the U.S. market. Day-to-day responsibilities include calling insurance companies and other payers to follow up on pending claims, identifying reasons for denials or delays, and securing accurate, timely payments.

The role involves documenting call outcomes in the billing system, updating claim statuses, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve billing, coding, and eligibility issues. AR Callers are expected to meet defined productivity and quality targets, adhere to client-specific guidelines and compliance standards,



and maintain professional communication at all times. The position may also require handling escalations, contributing to process improvements, and participating in training to stay current with payer policies and RCM best practices.

Qualifications

- Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management or accounts receivable follow-up, preferably with U.S. medical billing or insurance processes.
- Strong communication skills in English, including clear verbal communication for outbound calls and accurate written documentation.
- Ability to understand explanation of benefits (EOBs), denial codes, and basic medical billing and coding concepts; familiarity with HIM and patient access is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using billing software, CRM or RCM platforms, and standard office applications; comfort working with spreadsheets and claim tracking tools.
- Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills to investigate claim issues and identify resolution steps.
- Ability to work in shifts aligned to U.S. time zones, meet productivity and quality targets, and collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
- Prior experience in an international BPO or healthcare back-office setting is beneficial; knowledge of compliance standards such as HIPAA is a plus.
- Minimum educational qualification: diploma or bachelor’s degree in any discipline; candidates with healthcare or commerce backgrounds are preferred.
