Role Description :
The Anesthesiologist role at Be Well Hospitals in Cuddalore is a full-time, on-site position. The Anesthesiologist will assess patients preoperatively, determine appropriate anesthesia plans, and provide anesthesia care for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures. Daily responsibilities include monitoring patients during and after procedures, managing pain control, responding to emergencies, and collaborating with surgeons, nurses, and other clinicians to ensure safe and effective perioperative care.
The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records,
adhering to clinical protocols and safety standards, participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives within the hospital.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management to provide safe anesthesia care and effective perioperative pain control.
- Solid foundation in Medicine to conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments and manage patient comorbidities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Surgery teams to plan and deliver anesthesia for a range of surgical procedures.
- Understanding of Critical Care principles, including airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, and post-operative care.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and completed postgraduate training in Anesthesiology; valid medical registration as per local regulations.
- Experience in hospital or multispeciality settings, preferably in high-volume surgical and emergency care environments.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills, with a commitment to patient safety and ethical practice.
- Willingness to participate in continuous career development, follow evidence-based guidelines, and support teaching or mentoring activities when required.
