AI VFX Compositor

Fury VFX is looking for an AI VFX Compositor who is highly experienced with both Nuke and modern AI image/video workflows .

This is a hands-on role focused on taking AI-generated material, fixing what doesn't work, and turning it into clean, believable, production-ready shots .

What You'll Do

- Create, refine and finish AI-generated image and video content
- Composite AI material in Nuke and integrate it with live-action and VFX
- Fix common AI issues such as artifacts, flicker, inconsistent details, faces, hands, edges, lighting and continuity
- Use inpainting, outpainting, regeneration and other AI techniques to improve shots
- Combine multiple AI generations and traditional VFX techniques to achieve the final look
- Help develop efficient and repeatable AI + VFX workflows
- Work independently and solve problems without needing everything pre-built

What We're Looking For
- Strong Nuke compositing experience — must have
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of AI image and video generation
- Experience using tools such as ComfyUI, Runway, Kling, Veo, Higgsfield, Midjourney, Luma, Pika, Flux, Seedance or similar




- Solid understanding of how to take an AI-generated result beyond the initial generation and make it production-ready
- Excellent eye for realism, detail, lighting, color and integration
- Strong traditional VFX skills: keying, roto, tracking, cleanup, paint and compositing
- Comfortable experimenting with different AI workflows to solve a shot
- Able to work independently in a small, fast-moving team

Nice to Have
- ComfyUI workflow building
- Python or scripting
- Maya, Blender or other 3D experience
- Experience using 3D as a foundation for AI generation
- Experience with AI-generated VFX, commercials, music videos or short-form content

The Right Person We’re looking for someone who understands AI deeply, not someone who simply knows how to type prompts .

You should be comfortable looking at a problematic AI shot and figuring out whether to regenerate it, modify it, combine multiple generations, use traditional compositing, or build a different workflow altogether.

Your job is to get the shot over the finish line .
