Hirely is recruiting AI Generalist Evaluators on behalf of one of our hiring partners. In this remote contractor role, you’ll contribute to the training and evaluation of next-generation AI systems by analyzing data, reviewing model outputs, and providing high-quality feedback.

No prior AI or machine learning experience is required. The role is well suited to professionals and graduates with strong critical thinking, communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across a variety of topics.

What You’ll Do

- Analyze, evaluate, and annotate different types of data to support AI training and validation
- Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy, relevance, clarity, and overall quality
- Provide clear, well-written feedback based on project requirements
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, and areas where AI-generated content can be improved
- Complete problem-solving and evaluation tasks across multiple subject areas
- Follow detailed project guidelines and quality-assurance procedures
- Communicate findings and observations clearly through written and verbal channels
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across all assignments

Relevant Experience Includes Experience in data annotation, data labeling, AI evaluation, content review, quality assurance, research, writing, editing, data analysis, customer support, education, software/technology, or other work requiring careful analysis, written communication, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience with data annotation or AI evaluation projects
- Experience reviewing or improving written or technical content
- Solid research and information-analysis skills
- Experience working with remote or distributed teams
- Familiarity with AI tools or generative AI systems
- Bachelor's degree or relevant professional experience

Compensation & Work Arrangement

- $50-$90 per hour
- Fully remote
- Flexible schedule
