About the Role

SkillTrack.top is looking for an AI-Integrated Offensive Security Freelance Intern who is interested in combining cybersecurity knowledge with modern AI-assisted workflows.

The selected candidate will support authorized security research, lab-based security testing, technical documentation, and educational projects while exploring how AI can improve security research, analysis, automation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct cybersecurity research related to offensive security and ethical hacking in authorized lab environments.
- Explore the use of AI tools in security research, analysis, automation, and documentation.
- Assist with authorized vulnerability assessment and security-testing projects.
- Research emerging cybersecurity vulnerabilities, tools, techniques, and industry trends.
- Build and test security concepts in controlled environments such as labs, CTFs, and intentionally vulnerable systems.
- Prepare practical technical reports, documentation, and research notes.
- Use AI responsibly to improve research efficiency and simplify technical workflows.
- Assist in developing educational demonstrations and practical cybersecurity content.
- Maintain proper documentation of assigned projects and submit work within deadlines.
- Follow ethical hacking principles and work only on systems explicitly authorized for testing.

Requirements




- Good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals and ethical hacking.
- Knowledge of Linux/Kali Linux, networking, web security, and common security-testing concepts.
- Familiarity with AI tools and an interest in integrating AI into cybersecurity workflows.
- Relevant cybersecurity certification or practical training is preferred.
- Prior projects, labs, CTF participation, GitHub work, technical research, or cybersecurity portfolio will be an advantage.
- Good analytical, research, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work 8 hours per day.
- Responsible, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a freelance workplace.
