AI Evaluation Specialist - Bioinformatics (Remote, Immediate Joiners)

OpsLabel is expanding its expert network, and we have an immediate need for Bioinformatics experts. We need your domain judgment on a frontier AI project that evaluates how well models reason through real scientific investigations.

- Remote (India preferred)
- Freelance / Contract, long-term project work
- Master's degree or higher in Bioinformatics or a closely related field. PhD preferred.
- Currently pursuing your Master's or PhD? You're welcome to apply.
- Already completed it and working as a researcher? Also welcome.

Must have:
- Bioinformatics background with a Master's degree or higher (PhD preferred)
- Currently pursuing this education, or completed it and active as a researcher
- Sound scientific judgment on method selection and interpretation of results

Nice to have:
- Genomics or metagenomics experience
- Computational science or programming background
- Nextflow experience
- Machine learning or data background with an interest in bioinformatics

What you'll do:
- Work through investigation-style tasks built on real scientific inputs, with no answer key provided




- Select the appropriate method for each phase of the investigation and execute it correctly
- Reason toward a scientifically defensible conclusion and document how you got there
- Deliver high-quality work across multiple sprints with direct feedback from senior reviewers
