Role Description The AI Filmmaker at Filmy Fiction will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating video content that integrates artificial intelligence tools into the filmmaking process. This contract, remote role involves developing story ideas, writing or refining scripts, planning shot structures, and collaborating virtually with producers, directors, and editors to ensure cohesive visual storytelling. Day-to-day tasks include using AI-assisted tools for pre-visualization, animatics, or asset generation; coordinating with post-production teams on AI-enhanced editing, color grading,



and visual effects; and adapting creative concepts based on client feedback and brand guidelines.

The AI Filmmaker will also participate in virtual reviews, maintain explicit documentation of workflows, and help refine best practices for AI-driven content production while meeting project timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Film Direction and Scriptwriting to develop compelling narratives and guide the creative vision of AI-driven projects.
- Candidates should possess skills in Film Production and Video Production to manage the planning, coordination, and execution of shoots, whether virtual, hybrid, or AI-generated.
- Candidates should possess skills in Post-Production to collaborate effectively on editing, visual effects, and integration of AI tools in the finishing process.
- Familiarity with AI tools and software used in video generation, animation, editing, or VFX (e.g., generative video platforms, motion graphics tools, NLEs such as Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve).
- Strong visual storytelling abilities, an understanding of brand communication, and a portfolio demonstrating film or video work, ideally with experimental or tech-driven projects.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with cross-functional teams and clients.
