AI Engineer - Agentic AI / RAG (GCP)

Role Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer with expertise in Agentic AI systems, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and up-to-date GenAI frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and deploying intelligent AI agents using LangChain, LangGraph, Vertex AI, Python, and FastAPI. Strong SQL expertise is essential for building data-driven AI applications and optimising enterprise data retrieval solutions.

The engineer will own use cases end-to-end, from design through production deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy Agentic AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Build and maintain RAG-based applications for enterprise knowledge retrieval and conversational AI.
- Develop multi-agent workflows using LangGraph and LangChain frameworks.
- Integrate AI/ML solutions with Vertex AI, vector databases, enterprise data sources, and external APIs.
- Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
- Design prompt engineering strategies and optimise model performance, latency, and accuracy.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to support AI workloads and knowledge repositories.
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers,



and solution architects to define AI use cases and deliver production-grade solutions.
- Ensure AI solutions follow security, governance, and responsible AI best practices.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed AI applications.

Tech Stack :

- AI / Generative AI : Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Prompt Engineering, LLM Integration and Evaluation.
- Cloud / AI Platform : Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Vertex AI, AI Model Deployment and Monitoring, Vector Databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate, FAISS).
- Backend Development : Python, FastAPI, REST API Development, Microservices Architecture.
- Data / Database : Expert-level SQL querying, Database performance optimisation, Data modelling, Data integration and ETL concepts.

Experience &

Qualifications :

- 8 - 10 years of overall experience, with at least 2 years in Generative AI / LLM-based application development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience building and deploying enterprise-scale AI solutions.

Ways of Working :

- End-to-end ownership of AI use cases from design through production deployment.
- Close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and solution architects.
