Job Summary

We are seeking a commercially astute and technically visionary Director to own and scale Firstsource's AI & Cloud product portfolio across multiple product lines. You will set product strategy, engineering standards, and investment priorities across the portfolio, while mentoring a team of Associate Directors and engineering leaders. With 18+ years of experience, you bring deep Python and Generative AI expertise, enterprise cloud architecture mastery, and the executive presence to shape AI product strategy at the CXO level.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Strategy & Architecture

- Define multi-year product strategy and investment roadmap across the AI product portfolio.
- Set enterprise architecture standards and reference patterns embedding Generative AI and agentic workflows across all product lines.
- Approve major architecture decisions and technology bets across product engineering teams.
- Represent product strategy to executive leadership and, where relevant, the board.

Engineering Leadership & Delivery

- Lead a portfolio of product engineering teams (20–40 engineers) across geographies via Associate Directors and Senior Managers.
- Own portfolio-level P&L;,



resourcing, and executive-level roadmap reporting.
- Establish org-wide delivery governance, quality, and risk frameworks.
- Champion enterprise-wide adoption of AI coding agents and agentic delivery practices.

Generative AI & Intelligent Automation

- Set enterprise policy for Generative AI governance, safety, and model observability across all products/programmes.
- Sponsor evaluation and adoption of emerging agentic frameworks (LangChain, Agent Core, CrewAI, etc.) at an organizational level.
- Own the AI technology vision presented to clients, analysts, and partners.
- Champion responsible AI practices across the portfolio.

People & Stakeholder Management

- Build and mentor a leadership bench of Associate Directors, Senior Managers, and technical architects.
- Own executive stakeholder relationships with CXOs, business unit heads, and board-level sponsors.
- Drive an org-wide culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Represent the AI Delivery organization in strategic planning and partnership discussions.

Qualifications & Experience

- 18+ years in software / AI engineering; 8+ years at Director or senior leadership level.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated track record of building and shipping end-to-end applications across the full SDLC.
- Full lifecycle ownership: ideation → architecture → engineering → production → optimisation, at portfolio scale.
- Proven enterprise cloud architecture and deployment leadership across at least one hyperscaler.
- Demonstrable track record of scaling multiple AI products from concept to sustained, adopted production use.
- Robust commercial acumen: portfolio P&L; ownership, investment business-case development, and roadmap governance.
