Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Agronomist / Agricultural Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert technical guidance to farmers over the phone or in-store, helping them solve crop issues, and recommending the right agricultural products (seeds, fertilizers, crop protection, and nutrition solutions).

Note: This is an internal sales and advisory role. There is no field work or farm travel required.

Key Responsibilities

- Farmer Advisory & Support:
- Interact directly with farmers (via phone calls, WhatsApp, or branch walk-ins) to understand their crop challenges, soil health conditions, and pest/disease issues.
- Provide accurate, timely, and actionable technical advice regarding crop management, pest control, and nutrient schedules.
- Product Sales & Recommendation:




- Recommend appropriate Palvi Agrico products tailored to the specific needs of the farmer.
- Explain product usage, dosages, application methods, and safety protocols clearly to the customer.
- Achieve sales targets by cross-selling and upselling relevant agricultural inputs.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong, trustworthy relationships with existing and new farmers.
- Follow up with farmers after product usage to check crop progress, resolve queries, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain precise records of farmer interactions, queries, and sales transactions in the system.

Key Qualifications & Skills

- Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture, M.Sc. in Agronomy / Plant Pathology / Entomology, or Diploma in Agriculture (or equivalent degree).
- Experience: Open to Freshers with strong technical knowledge, as well as experienced advisors (1–3+ years).
- Languages: Proficiency in local regional languages is essential for effective communication with farmers.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of crop lifecycles, pest/disease diagnosis, soil health, and agri-input products.
- Communication & Sales Skills: Excellent active listening, persuasive communication, and customer-service mindset.
