Role Description This is a full-time, in office After Sales Engineer role based in Assam, India.

The After Sales

Engineer will handle post-installation technical support for packaging and material handling products, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance optimization at customer locations.

Responsibilities include responding to service requests, diagnosing issues, coordinating repairs or spare parts, and documenting service activities. The role involves collaborating with the sales team to understand customer requirements, providing feedback to engineering and production teams, and supporting warranty and service contract obligations.

The After Sales





Engineer will also engage with customers to ensure satisfaction, conduct training on product usage, and contribute to continuous improvement in after-sales processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to understand product specifications, resolve technical issues, and support installed systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Sales and Customer Service skills to manage client relationships, address inquiries, and support after-sales commercial activities.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact clearly with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Relevant technical background in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, preferably with exposure to packaging, plastics, or material handling equipment.
- Experience in field service, installation, or maintenance of industrial machinery or similar systems is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications and to use diagnostic tools and basic software applications.
- Solid problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills, with readiness to travel to customer sites as required.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
