Better Works Hr is looking for a Administrative Assistant and Bookkeeping Accountant role based in Navi Mumbai.

The Junior

Accountant will assist with daily bookkeeping, data entry of financial transactions, and maintenance of general ledgers.

Responsibilities include supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, preparing basic reconciliations, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role involves helping compile financial reports, verifying documentation for accuracy, and ensuring records are maintained in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

The Junior

Accountant will collaborate with senior accounting staff, coordinate with other internal teams, and support audits and compliance-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Handling Invoices, bills and financial needs
- Coordinating with internal teams and vendors
- Candidates should possess foundational accounting skills, including understanding of journal entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and basic financial statements.




- Candidates should possess proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software, along with solid data entry accuracy and numerical aptitude.
- Candidates should possess skills in organizing documentation, maintaining financial records, and following established processes and controls.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams and respond to internal queries clearly.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; internships or prior experience in an accounting or finance role are an advantage.
- Willingness to learn, openness to feedback, and a professional, ethical approach to handling financial information are essential.
