Saileor is hiring an Accounts Payable Officer/ Bookkeeper on behalf of our client, a multi-entity retail group based in Perth, Western Australia.
Perth is only 2.5 hours ahead of India. Your day runs roughly 7:00 to 16:00 IST and covers almost the full Australian working day
Experience & Qualifications
- 2-5 years' experience in accounts payable or bookkeeping
- Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting/commerce (B.Com or equivalent)
- Sound understanding of accounting principles
Key Responsibilities
- Full invoice entry and coding across the Group's entities
- Matching invoices to purchase orders / POD (proof of delivery) before processing
- Supplier statement reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting month-end close: accruals, journals, and reconciliations as directed
- Bank and general ledger reconciliations as required
- Working within Business Central (NAV), with Continia for invoice/OCR processing
- Working closely with the onshore finance team and the offshore team in the Philippines to ensure smooth handover and coverage of tasks
- Liaising with suppliers on queries
- General financial administration support as needed
- Flexibility to work additional hours from time to time to meet business deadlines, particularly around month-end
