Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based at the GM Moulders office in Guwahati, Assam. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording and reconciling transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow, assisting with budgeting and cost control, and ensuring timely statutory compliance such as GST, TDS, and other regulatory filings.



The role also involves coordinating with internal teams, external auditors, and tax consultants, analyzing financial data to support management decisions, and maintaining accurate, organized financial records.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
- Knowledge of taxation and compliance, such as GST, TDS, statutory reporting, and familiarity with Indian accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (Pivot Table, Vlook Up)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, vendors, and external auditors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce
- Experience In CA firm is preferred
- Relevant experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role, preferably in manufacturing or wholesale distribution.
- Ability to work on-site in Guwahati, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical financial practices.
