We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to own our day-to-day accounting and financial operations across a growing D2C/import business.

The role will cover GST compliance, vendor and marketplace reconciliations, import & customs accounting, inventory and COGS, payroll, cash-flow monitoring, bookkeeping, and monthly financial reporting. You will work closely with the founder, vendors, logistics/assembly partners, marketplaces, and our CA.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage GST filings, ITC reconciliation, and HSN classification across SKUs.
- Reconcile China supplier, assembly, packaging, and logistics vendor invoices and payments.
- Reconcile Amazon/Flipkart settlements with sales, commissions, fees, and payouts.
- Track BCD, IGST, customs charges, and landed costs for imported SKD shipments.
- Manage payroll for the core team and, when operational, the assembly workforce.
- Track inventory, landed cost per unit, and COGS accurately.




- Monitor cash flow and actuals against the financial plan.
- Maintain accurate books and prepare monthly financial reports for the founder.
- Coordinate with the CA for audits, statutory filings, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

- B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
- 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Startup, D2C, import, trading, or e-commerce experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, ITC reconciliation, and HSN classification.
- Experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software.
- Basic understanding of import/customs accounting, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and reconciliation skills.
- Comfortable working independently and directly with a founder in a rapid-growing small team.
