Role Description The Accountant role at Flight Mode Studio is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining general ledgers, processing invoices, tracking expenses, and preparing account reconciliations. This role will support monthly and annual closing activities, assist with budgeting and forecasting, and help prepare financial reports for management and external stakeholders.

The Accountant will also monitor compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies, coordinate with auditors and vendors, and contribute to process improvements that ensure accurate, timely,



and efficient financial management.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, basic analytics).
- Ability to analyze financial data, identify variances, and provide transparent, concise insights.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Experience working in a marketing, creative, or services-based organization is a plus.
- Comfort working on-site in Gurugram and adhering to local financial and regulatory requirements.
