About the Role

Concept PR is looking for an Account Manager to join our Kolkata team. We are looking for a confident PR professional who can independently manage client accounts, build strong media relationships, drive strategic communication campaigns and lead a team towards delivering high-quality work.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience in PR, media relations and client servicing, with the ability to understand business objectives and translate them into effective communication strategies.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage day-to-day client relationships and act as the primary point of contact.
- Develop and execute integrated PR and communications strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Drive media relations, including building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and key media stakeholders.
- Identify and generate relevant media opportunities, including interviews, features, thought-leadership opportunities and news stories.
- Draft and review press releases, media pitches, briefing documents, key messages, talking points and other communication materials.
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and potential risks.
- Lead client meetings, presentations and regular review calls.
- Manage multiple accounts and ensure timely delivery of campaigns, reports and client requirements.




- Guide and mentor Account Executives and Senior Account Executives within the team.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and deliverables.
- Contribute to new business pitches, proposals, presentations and client acquisition initiatives.
- Track account performance, budgets, timelines and deliverables.
- Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and grow accounts.

What We're Looking For

- 4–6 years of relevant experience in Public Relations / Corporate Communications.
- Strong experience in PR agency/client servicing is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of the media landscape, particularly the Kolkata/Eastern India market.
- Strong media relationships across business, corporate, regional and relevant sector publications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation, negotiation and client-management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple accounts and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Strategic thinking with excellent execution skills.
- A proactive, result-oriented and solution-focused approach.
