About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Account Executive with hands-on experience in SAP to manage the organization's day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate will independently handle GST compliance, monthly book closing, expense provisioning, prepaid ledger maintenance, and banking activities, while ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines across all accounting functions.

MUST HAVE-

SAP Experience - 3-5 Years

GST AND TDS Return Filling

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations in SAP, including journal entries, ledger scrutiny, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns), ensuring timely and accurate statutory compliance.
- Own the monthly closing process, including accruals, provisions, variance analysis, and MIS support.
- Create and maintain provisions for expenses, ensuring accurate recognition at each period-end.
- Maintain the prepaid expense ledger, including amortization schedules and monthly adjustment entries.
- Manage day-to-day banking operations — payments, receipts, fund transfers, and bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Perform vendor and customer account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Support TDS computation, deduction, deposit,



and return filing.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during statutory, internal, and tax audits.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies across all transactions.
- Handle other day-to-day accounting and finance tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Accounting/Finance (B.Com/M.Com); CA Inter or semi-qualified candidates preferred.
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in core accounting functions.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP (FI module) is mandatory.
- Proven experience in GST return filing and compliance.
- Solid understanding of monthly book closing processes and expense provisioning.
- Experience maintaining prepaid ledgers and handling banking/reconciliation activities.
- Proficiency in MS Excel for reporting and analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
- Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Valuable to Have

- Exposure to TDS/TCS compliance and return filing.
- Prior experience supporting statutory or internal audits.
- Experience in the pharma, animal health, or FMCG industry.
