Role Description The Freelance 3D Jewelry Designer | Gemstone Ring Design role at NLIVTECH is a remote freelance position focused on creating high-quality, realistic 3D designs for gemstone rings and jewelry products. The designer will be responsible for developing detailed 3D ring models featuring different gemstones, including Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, Blue Sapphire, and Yellow Sapphire.

The role involves creating accurate gemstone shapes, cuts, settings, materials, reflections, and refractions while maintaining a premium and realistic appearance. The designer will work closely with the product and development team to ensure that the 3D models meet both visual and technical requirements for web-based applications.

Daily tasks will include developing ring concepts, creating production-ready 3D models, refining gemstone and metal materials, optimizing models for web performance, incorporating feedback, and preparing final assets in web-compatible formats such as GLB/GLTF.



The designer will also be expected to maintain consistency across all gemstone variations while ensuring that each design meets the required quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in 3D jewelry design, with specific experience in gemstone ring design and jewelry product modeling.
- Proven experience creating realistic 3D models of rings, gemstones, settings, and metalwork.
- Robust understanding of gemstone cuts, proportions, materials, reflections, refractions, and realistic rendering.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software such as Blender, Rhino, MatrixGold, ZBrush, or similar tools.
- Experience creating and optimizing 3D assets for web-based applications is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of GLB/GLTF formats and experience preparing web-ready 3D models is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and understanding of jewelry proportions, materials, and manufacturing considerations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote freelance environment with strong communication, time management, and responsiveness.
- Ability to understand creative briefs, implement feedback, and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
- Previous experience in jewelry design, 3D modeling, product design, or a related field is preferred.
- A strong portfolio showcasing 3D jewelry work, particularly realistic gemstone rings, is required.
