PURCHASE EXECUTIVE – FMCG / RETAIL

Job Summary

Ondoor Concept Ltd. is looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with 5+ years of experience in FMCG, Retail, E-commerce, or Distribution. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, new vendor development, sourcing, price negotiation, and day-to-day purchase operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage existing vendors and supplier relationships.

Identify and develop new vendors in Indore, Gwalior, and other cities.

Source products/materials as per business requirements.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, and delivery terms.

Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs).

Track pending POs and ensure timely material delivery.

Coordinate with vendors, warehouse, operations, and finance teams.





Resolve issues related to quality, shortages, delays, and billing.

Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Maintain vendor, quotation, pricing, and purchase records.

Ensure timely availability of materials and smooth day-to-day procurement.

Candidate Requirements

5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.

FMCG/Retail experience preferred.

Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

Good market knowledge and supplier sourcing ability.

Good communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.

Knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets; ERP experience is an advantage.

Willingness to travel to supplier markets when required.
