Open source is only as powerful as its documentation.
At Plasmatic, we are building Orion—the governed services platform for teams building software with AI. Our code is open. Now, we want our documentation to be as clear, practical and trusted as the platform itself.
We’re inviting an experienced Technical Writer to join us as an Open-Source Documentation Contributor.
What you can contribute:
- Simplify complex technical concepts for developers and enterprise users
- Improve READMEs, quick-start guides, tutorials and architecture documentation
- Create practical, end-to-end examples and use cases
- Review documentation by installing and testing the platform yourself
- Help shape our documentation structure, terminology and writing standards
- Collaborate directly with Plasmatic’s founders and engineers through GitHub
What we’re looking for:
- Experience writing developer or product documentation
- Strong Markdown, GitHub and documentation-as-code skills
- Ability to understand APIs, distributed systems or developer platforms
- Clear, practical and user-focused writing
Knowledge of Rust, JSONLogic, financial technology or AI infrastructure is valuable—but not essential.
Significant: This is a flexible, voluntary and unpaid open-source contribution opportunity—not an employment position. Contributions will be publicly credited on GitHub, providing visible, portfolio-ready work and the opportunity to help shape an emerging open-source platform from Singapore.
