Role Description The Study Abroad Counsellor will guide students through the entire process of exploring and applying to international universities and programs. This full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram involves conducting counselling sessions, understanding student profiles and aspirations, and recommending suitable courses and destinations. The counsellor will assist with application forms, documentation, and timelines, while coordinating with partner institutions and internal teams for smooth processing.

Daily responsibilities include responding to inquiries via calls, emails, and in-person meetings, organizing information sessions or webinars, maintaining accurate student records in CRM or database systems,



and staying updated on global education trends, admission requirements, and visa processes.

Qualifications

- Robust counselling and advisory skills, including the ability to understand student goals, provide unbiased guidance, and build trust with diverse learners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for explaining complex information clearly, conducting one-on-one and group sessions, and collaborating with teams and partner institutions.
- Organizational and administrative abilities to manage multiple applications, track documentation and deadlines, and maintain accurate records using digital tools or CRM platforms.
- Analytical and research skills to compare universities and programs, interpret admission and visa requirements, and keep up-to-date with global education opportunities.
- Customer-service orientation and problem-solving mindset to handle queries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a positive experience for students and families.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counselling, psychology, or management is an advantage.
- Prior experience in study abroad counselling, education consulting, or student advisory services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Comfort working with technology, including online research tools, productivity software, and communication platforms; familiarity with international application and visa processes is a plus.
