Job Title

SQL Developer – Database Migration Project

Job Summary The SQL Developer will support database migration activities by analyzing database objects, optimizing SQL code, resolving compatibility issues, validating migrated databases, and ensuring application functionality after migration to AWS RDS SQL Server.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze existing database schemas, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- Remediate SQL code incompatible with AWS RDS SQL Server.
- Optimize queries and database objects for RDS performance.
- Support schema and data migration activities.
- Develop validation scripts and reconciliation processes.
- Perform data quality and integrity checks.
- Analyze execution plans and tune SQL performance.
- Support application teams during UAT and production deployment.
- Document migration changes and database standards.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of SQL Server development experience.
- Solid expertise in:
- T-SQL




- Stored Procedures
- Functions
- Views
- Triggers
- Indexing Strategies
- Experience with:
- SQL Server Migration
- Query Tuning
- Data Validation
- AWS RDS SQL Server
- AWS DMS
- Familiarity with source control and CI/CD processes.

Contract Details

This is a 2.5-month contract / consultant opportunity with a budget of up to ₹1.75 lakh per month, based on relevant experience and technical expertise.
