Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled Solar Project Engineer to support the execution of Commercial & Industrial (C&I;) solar EPC projects. The role involves overseeing the project from feasibility and design to installation and commissioning—while ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, safety, and quality compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in rooftop solar projects, along with strong technical and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct feasibility studies and in office assessments for solar PV installations.
- Coordinate with internal and external design teams (civil, structural, and electrical) to develop and optimize system layouts.
- Review and validate designs for compliance with applicable standards, safety norms, and project requirements.




- Manage the permitting process and support documentation for DISCOM, and local authority approvals.
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Collaborate with the procurement team and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Supervise on-site installation and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to design, safety, and quality benchmarks.
- Coordinate with contractors, electricians, and key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including as-built drawings, test reports, and operation manuals.
- Support the preparation and submission of project close-out documents and regulatory clearances.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in solar project engineering or related work (C&I; projects).
- Proven track record of successfully delivering rooftop projects.
- Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools ,contracts, and BOQ management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, grid connectivity, and safety standards.
- Ability to travel frequently for site supervision and client coordination.
