Athenatech is looking for a motivated Software Engineer to join our growing development team in Hyderabad. If you're an early-career developer excited about full-stack development, microservices, and cloud technologies, this role is for you.

About the Role

You'll work across modern backend, frontend, and cloud technologies, building and maintaining scalable applications alongside a collaborative engineering team.

What You'll Do

- Develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with Java/Spring Boot or .NET technologies
- Build responsive UIs using React and TypeScript
- Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Support deployments using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams throughout the SDLC

Backend:
- Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate
- ASP.NET Core, .NET 6/7, Entity Framework Core

Frontend:
- React.js, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit
- HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Material-UI
- Jest, React Testing Library

Cloud and DevOps:
- AWS (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch, IAM)
- Docker, Kubernetes
- Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Git, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field
- 0–3 years of experience (internships, academic projects, or professional roles all count)
- Strong grasp of programming fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience with at least one backend stack: Java/Spring Boot or C#/.NET
- Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend practices
- Understanding of REST APIs, SQL, Git, and the SDLC
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- A genuine willingness to learn and grow

Nice to Have

Exposure to AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD (Jenkins/GitHub Actions), and automated testing is a big plus.
