About the RoleWe are looking for a Social Media & Inventory Executive to manage the day-to-day social media presence and inventory operations for our Shopify store, Gaon Ka Saman.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable handling social media, creating engaging content, coordinating with the team, and keeping Shopify inventory and product information accurate and up to date.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media

- Manage Gaon Ka Saman's Instagram, Facebook and other social media platforms.
- Plan and execute daily/weekly social media content.
- Create and coordinate Reels, posts, stories and product-focused content.
- Write engaging captions and maintain consistent brand communication.
- Monitor trends, competitor activity and relevant content opportunities.
- Track social media performance and suggest ways to improve engagement and reach.

Shopify & Inventory Management

- Manage product listings, descriptions, pricing, images and inventory on Shopify.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure products are accurately updated.
- Coordinate with the warehouse/team regarding stock availability, incoming and outgoing products.
- Identify low-stock and out-of-stock products and maintain timely updates.




- Assist with order-related inventory coordination and product availability.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and resolve discrepancies.

General

- Coordinate with the marketing, operations and creative teams.
- Maintain basic reports for social media performance and inventory.
- Take ownership of day-to-day tasks and ensure deadlines are met.

Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a brand/business.
- Basic hands-on experience with Shopify is preferred.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, social media trends and content creation.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock tracking.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Preferred
- Experience working with a D2C/e-commerce brand.
- Familiarity with Shopify Admin, Google Sheets/Excel and basic analytics.
- Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media analytics.
