We are looking for a Data Business Analyst / Data Analyst to work closely with business and technology teams to understand data requirements, analyze business processes, and translate functional needs into effective data solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Data Warehouse concepts, System Analysis, and SQL basics.

Responsibilities

- Work with bus

iness and technology stakeholders to understand business requirements and data needs.
- Analyze business processes, data requirements, and system workflows to identify appropriate data sources and dependencies.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and data requirements for technology teams.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, data gaps, and inconsistencies.
- Work with Data Engineering and technical teams to support data integration and data-related initiatives.




- Develop and maintain functional requirements, data specifications, process documentation, and related artifacts.
- Understand Data Warehouse concepts and support requirements related to data movement, transformation, and reporting.
- Perform basic SQL queries to validate, analyze, and reconcile data.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence and reporting teams to understand analytical and reporting requirements.
- Participate in requirement discussions, solution reviews, testing, and deployment activities as required.
- Identify data quality issues and work with relevant teams to support resolution.
- Communicate findings, requirements, and recommendations clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.

Requirements

- 4–7 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or System Analysis roles.
- Strong understanding of Business Analysis and Data Analysis concepts.
- Good understanding of Data Warehouse (DWH) concepts.
- Experience in understanding business processes, system workflows, and data requirements.
- Basic proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional and data requirements.
- Experience working with cross-functional Business, Data, Engineering, and Technology teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving,



and critical-thinking skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to document requirements, processes, data flows, and functional specifications clearly.

Valuable To Have

- Exposure to Business Intelligence and reporting tools.
- Experience working on data integration or data engineering initiatives.
- Knowledge of data quality, data lineage, and data governance concepts.
- Experience in the insurance or financial services domain.
