Role Description The Senior Project Engineer–MEP will lead and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering activities for construction projects in Hyderabad. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing project engineering from design review through execution, ensuring that MEP systems meet client requirements, safety standards, and regulatory codes. The role includes managing project planning, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and collaborating with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure integrated solutions.

The Senior Project

Engineer–MEP will review drawings and specifications,



support quality assurance and inspections, track project milestones and costs, and prepare technical reports and documentation. The individual will also mentor junior engineers, support risk management, and contribute to continuous improvement in MEP design, coordination, and site practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills, with solid experience in MEP systems for building and infrastructure projects.
- Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, enabling clear interaction with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline; a master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, MEP specialization) are an advantage.
- Proven experience in leading on-site MEP execution, familiar with relevant codes and standards, safety regulations, and quality control processes.
- Ability to interpret and review design drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications, and to provide practical engineering solutions at the site.
- Proficiency in project-related software (e.g., MS Project or equivalent), and familiarity with CAD/BIM tools for coordination will be beneficial.
