Sliq Group is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to build and maintain robust, Python-based automation frameworks for banking and payment applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks using Python, Playwright (Selenium acceptable), and the requests library
- Develop and debug automation scripts using VS Code
- Manage test cases and automation execution using Azure DevOps and Robot Framework
- Validate data across SQL Server (MSSQL) and NoSQL (CosmosDB) databases
- Perform system integration, functional, and non-functional testing
- Automate testing for mobile applications
- Support UAT execution and coordination
- Manage code using Git, following SDLC best practices

Required Skills & Experience

- Deep knowledge of structured/object-oriented programming in Python using Playwright (Selenium acceptable) and the requests library; Postman knowledge is a plus
- Experience using VS Code for Python automation development and debugging
- Usage of test management and automation tools/frameworks, ideally Azure DevOps and Robot Framework
- Working knowledge of SQL programming (ideally MSSQL) and NoSQL (ideally CosmosDB)
- System integration testing




- Functional and non-functional testing
- Banking sector experience, especially with credit cards and payment processes
- Proficiency in Git workflows and repository management, with a basic understanding of the SDLC
- Test automation for mobile applications
- UAT execution or coordination

Preferred (Valuable to Have)

- Experience with the Temenos Transact core banking system
- ISTQB certification, foundational or advanced
- RFCP (Robot Framework Certified Professional)
