KisanKraft Limited is a Bengaluru-headquartered agricultural equipment and power tools company, with a 46-acre manufacturing facility in Nellore, a dealer network of over 5,000 partners, and exports to 16+ countries. This position will work to develop retail business models for exclusive showroom, franchise-outlet in the assigned city.

The Retail Business Development Manager will define the concept, develop strategy, promotion and business development activities.
You will drive identifying and recruiting franchisors, building and growing the exclusive showrooms, franchise outlets, drives primary/secondary sales, and executes local promotional and market-development activity.
You will drive, track and analyse sales performance, primary/secondary sales and market activation of the franchise retail outlet in the assigned city. Retail Sales Development – Showroom design, product mix and placement
Drive footfall, conversion, and revenue growth at the franchise retail outlet.
• Secondary Sales – Drive secondary sales from the retail outlet and city dealer network into end-customer hands,
Promotional & Market Activation – Plan and execute local promotional activities
Farmer meets, product demonstrations, in-outlet campaigns, local advertising
Tie-ups to build brand visibility and drive walk-ins.
Digital marketing campaigns: convert leads generated into orders
• Channel & Relationship Management – Build and maintain relationships with primary and secondary dealers
Ensure adherence to agreed retail and franchise standards, including preferred display of our products.




• Performance Tracking & Reporting – Track outlet performance against sales target, and promotional-activity targets
Report regularly to the State/Zonal Sales Head.
• Franchise Store Maintenance – Ensure the franchise outlet is maintained in line with KisanKraft's brand, display, hygiene
Ensure operational standards, including store layout, signage, product display, and upkeep.
• Product & Merchandising Compliance – Ensure the franchise outlets reflect the agreed product range, merchandising, pricing, and service standards
After Sales Service – Ensure that franchise outlets have highest after-sale service standards, including spare part availability, trained mechanics.
Provide training for franchise and dealer mechanics, as needed at our regional offices or at factory.
• Market Intelligence – Gather ground-level intelligence on competitor activity, farmer preferences, and local market trends to assess city-level sales and develop franchise strategy.

Graduate in any discipline
• MBA/PGDM in Sales, Marketing, or Rural Management
• 4–8 years of experience in retail sales, channel sales, or distribution, ideally in agri-inputs, farm equipment, consumer durables, or FMCG/FMCD.
• Strong track record in secondary sales generation and channel/dealer relationship management.
• Experience planning and executing on-ground promotional and activation campaigns.
• Willingness to travel within the city and surrounding catchment/district.
• Local market knowledge of assigned territory and surrounding agricultural belts is an advantage.
• Proficiency in the local language of assigned territory

Entrepreneurial and rural channel/retail experience.
• Robust relationship-building and influencing skills.
• Data-oriented — comfortable tracking sell-out, stock, and promotional-activity metrics.
