Job Title: Python Application Support Developer (Night Shift)

Experience: 8+ Years

Shift: Willingness to work in Night Shift (Mandatory)

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Python Application Support Developer to provide technical support, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure smooth operation of business-critical applications. The ideal candidate should possess solid Python skills, experience in application support processes, API troubleshooting, and incident management while working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve issues within SLA timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical support for application-related issues and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, application defects, and performance issues.
- Manage and update ServiceNow tickets for Incident, Problem, and Change Management activities.
- Adhere to support lifecycle processes, including incident management, problem resolution, root cause analysis, and change implementation.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams for effective issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain Python scripts for automation, monitoring,



and operational activities.
- Support API integrations and troubleshoot API-related issues using tools such as Postman.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, knowledge base articles, and support procedures.
- Perform log analysis, data validation, and application monitoring to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Participate in production deployments, release support, and post-implementation validations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application stability and support efficiency.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience in Application Support / Production Support environments.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and troubleshooting using Postman.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ticketing and ITSM processes.
- Understanding of Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Experience with SQL queries and database troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of log analysis and monitoring tools.
- Understanding of automation scripting and operational support processes.

Mandatory Requirement

✅ Willing to work in Night Shift (24x7 production support environment).
