Experience: 8+ Years

We are looking for an experienced Network Security Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise and data center networking, network security, and firewall technologies. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, routing protocols, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS, Palo Alto, and Check Point firewalls. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and securing large-scale network and data center environments.

- Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise data center network and security infrastructure.
- Manage and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus switches and Cisco ACI environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, and MPLS.
- Implement network segmentation using VLANs, VRFs, security zones, and firewall policies.
- Administer Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls, including security policies, NAT, VPN, and HA.




- Analyze and resolve complex network connectivity, routing, and firewall-related issues.
- Perform network and security changes in accordance with established change-management processes.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and security events.
- Participate in network/security incident response and root-cause analysis.
- Develop and maintain network diagrams, configuration documentation, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams on network architecture and connectivity requirements.
- Support network upgrades, migrations, technology refreshes, and data center transformation initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior network and security engineers.
- Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering, network security, or a related infrastructure role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Cisco ACI.
- Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, and MPLS.
- Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls.
- Proven experience with firewall policy management, NAT, VPN, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting complex production network and security incidents.
- Solid communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred Certifications
- Cisco CCNP/CCIE Data Center or Enterprise
- Palo Alto PCNSE
- Check Point CCSE/CCSM
- Relevant network/security certifications are a plus.
