Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with around 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle database development, PL/SQL programming, stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers, performance tuning, and SQL development.

The candidate should have robust experience in developing and maintaining database solutions using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, analyzing complex queries, troubleshooting database issues, and optimizing database performance.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an enterprise environment and collaborating with application/development teams to deliver scalable and reliable database solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database applications using SQL and PL/SQL.
- Develop complex Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages, Cursors and Triggers.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for large-volume data processing.
- Perform SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning.




- Analyze execution plans and identify query/database performance bottlenecks.
- Develop database objects based on functional and technical requirements.
- Perform data extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation using SQL/PLSQL.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to database procedures, queries, jobs, and data.
- Debug and resolve PL/SQL errors and performance-related issues.
- Work with development and application teams to understand requirements and provide database solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Perform unit testing and support integration/system testing.
- Analyze existing PL/SQL code and enhance or refactor it where required.
- Handle data migration/transformation activities when required.
- Prepare technical documentation for database components and processes.
- Support deployment activities across development, testing, and production environments.
